Sometimes, without realizing you might enable the airplane mode which will result in the issue. So, make sure the Airplane mode is disabled before trying to connect to the wifi connection.   1. Reboot your Kindle Paperwhite device;
  • You must restart your device in case it is not connecting to wifi. For that, you have to keep pressing the power button for at least 40 seconds, this will show a prompt confirming the action. Tap on the Restart option and your device will automatically switch off and switch on again.
  • Wait patiently for the device to restart and then let it load the library and then again try to connect to the wifi connection.

  • Restart your wifi router by pressing the power button to switch it off and then press it again to turn it on. Power off the modem and the wifi router both first.
  • Then, disconnect the power cable from the wall socket. Let the device be idle for a few moments.
  • Now, attach the power cord once again, turn it on by pressing the power button and wait patiently for all the LED indicators to stop blinking.
  • Now, again try connecting to the wifi router.
  1. Update the Kindle paperwhite software version;
  • Firstly, connect your Kindle device to the computer. Now, browse the Kindle software update pages from your preferred web browser and look for the latest software.
  • Download the file and then move it to the Kindle device.
  • Then, from your Kindle device click on the menu, Next, you have to open the settings and then select Update Your Kindle.
  • Confirm with the update by pressing the OK button.
  • Now, wait patiently, and then after the installation, try to connect to the wifi again.
  1. Forget The Connected Wifi network from your Kindle device;
  • To forget the connected wifi network, navigate to the settings menu. Then go to all settings and finally select the wifi and Bluetooth.
  • Click on the wifi network that your Kindle Paperwhite device is connected to.
  • Then select the forget option to disconnect from the wifi. Now again look for available wifi networks and connect to the one you were connected to before. 
  1. Reset to the default factory settings;
  • First, click on the settings menu, then from there select the All Settings option. Then choose the device options.
  • Select the reset option and then confirm it by tapping on yes.
  • Your Kindle Paperwhite device will reset in a few moments. 
  • Now, make all the adjustments regarding network settings or something else to your Kindle device. Try connecting to the wifi again.
